At age 41, the Linkin Park lead singer's passing has shocked the music community, in which he was known as one of the leading pioneers of the nu-metal genre. Chester Bennington has died aged 41, the singer best known for fronting Linkin Park, an alternative band best known for releasing the iconic albums Hybrid Theory and Meteora.
